A juvenile Black Crowned Night Heron, (what a great name), at a pond on the Rio Pueblo in the Ranchos Valley

I stopped to take a few shots of the grasses around a pond and then this, what I thought was a young blue heron, flew through my frame, I was a
little surprised and then it landed and proceeded to strike up a pose on the log in the middle of the pond. It stayed this way for a number of shots until I had to leave.
