Lamy, New Mexico Train Depot

Lamy, New Mexico train depot luggage wagon with chile ristra. Things change and the Santa Fe Southern train station now serves coffee and home brews. The Chili Line Brewing Co. opened this weekend for business. The folks running it are delightful and if you are in the area stop in and visit the Lamy depot, step back in time and enjoy a hand crafted beer on tap. Even if you’re not catching the train to anywhere, it’s worth a visit. Things change and this feels like one for the better. Thanks for looking. G

Fresh Apples, 100% Organic

Fresh Apples, I hope so… and 100% Organic. The Plymouth Cambridge is made from organic steel, it isn’t going very far… and the rock wheel chocks will make sure of that. Thanks for looking. G

Born In A Barn, High Road To Taos

Born in a barn on the High Road to Taos. I’ll keep it short for the next few days. Stay tuned for a change of scenery. But I have to say, the “key lime pie” at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas NM is delicious. It probably wont be the last piece over the next few days. Thanks for looking. G

Hawk Tree, Arroyo Hondo, NM

Hawk tree, Red-tailed Hawk in Arroyo Hondo, NM. Our resident Red-tailed, frequents three locations. A high cottonwood with a view of the east and west valleys. This tree, with a more specific view of the meadows, supplemented with an old snag on the opposing, west side of the highway with grand coverage of the marsh lands and horse pastures. If these are the only places, then it has got the valley covered. I’m sure it knows more than I do. Thanks for looking. G

Nature, Downtown Taos, NM

Nature, downtown Taos, NM. It’s probably a weed but possibly a wild rose bush plant but don’t quote me on that. It was growing in a crack between the sidewalk and the wall, pushing up the concrete for all it’s worth where urban nature thrives. Thanks for looking. G

Kestrel Territory On The Plateau

Kestrel territory on the plateau. That same American Kestrel from April 1, 2019. This is its territory, it owns it. The pleasure is all mine to observe and wonder at the beauty of this bird. This photo is the appreciation of the moment I was able to participate in. Thanks for looking. G
