Marmot Southern Colorado

Marmot on a roadside perch in southern Colorado. This marmot was lazing on a rock, minding it’s own business. It didn’t seem to mind me making portraits of it. Given where we found it, on a pile of lava rocks at the side of the highway turnout, people would be quite familiar to it. Thanks for looking. G

Wild Horses, Colorado

Wild horses, Colorado. This pair hung close together and made for a nice pensive portrait. They were part of a larger tribe of about two dozen wild horses on the roadside in southern Colorado. Thanks for looking. G

Red Yellow, Trinidad, Colorado

Red, yellow, downtown Trinidad, Colorado. Made a trip around the block, a long block, a three hundred mile block! Stopped into the town of Trinidad and made a few images of the local “decor”. It would be easy to fill a few memory cards of images here with all the primary colors including plenty of red and yellow. Thanks for looking. G

Backroads, Northern New Mexico

Backroads, off Highway 64, near Hopewell Lake, northern New Mexico. As the rain didn’t come to us, we went to the rain. It was heavy through the mountains and torrential heading north to Chama, NM. When we pulled off the highway and drove down this road I was wishing I had brought the single malt. All we were missing besides was the heather. Thanks for looking. G
