Las Vegas, New Mexico, a collection, doors and windows. What a great five days of photo trekking in New Mexico and Colorado. If you would like to join me on a photo tour/workshop or create a custom one on one multi day workshop for yourself, give me a call. Thanks for looking. G
Window reflections, in historic Las Vegas, NM. Strolling with the iPhone around the Las Vegas Plaza and Bridge Street catching random window reflections in the early morning light. This was one image I rather like. Thanks for looking. G
San Isidro Chapel and Cemetery, Sapello, NM. On a five day road trip around northeastern New Mexico and southeastern, Colorado. Beautiful evening light can bring a scene alive, especially New Mexico evening light. Time flies when your having fun. Thanks for looking. G
Fresh Apples, I hope so… and 100% Organic. The Plymouth Cambridge is made from organic steel, it isn’t going very far… and the rock wheel chocks will make sure of that. Thanks for looking. G
Born in a barn on the High Road to Taos. I’ll keep it short for the next few days. Stay tuned for a change of scenery. But I have to say, the “key lime pie” at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas NM is delicious. It probably wont be the last piece over the next few days. Thanks for looking. G
Steps leading down at the church in Dixon, NM. On the High Road to Taos today there’s always something new to see and photograph on this iconic northern New Mexico road trip. Thanks for looking. G
Yellow brick wall, on the road in Trinidad, Colorado. I’m not a friend of yellow, I usually avoid yellow anything, but I like the way it works in this image. I’m looking forward to a five day photo trek around many locations with my good friend and photographer Ron Richardson. We’ll be spending time in northeastern New Mexico and southeastern Colorado and will stop into Trinidad again. If you would like to join me on an extended photo tour/workshop call me for a date that suits you. Thanks for looking. G
Crosses and shadows at the St. Francis Church, Ranchos de Taos, NM. Finding the light and darks at any religious landmarks, to me represents the symbolism of the eternal fight between the two. I mostly enjoy the architecture of the buildings and the people who built them. Thanks for looking. G
Hawk tree, Red-tailed Hawk in Arroyo Hondo, NM. Our resident Red-tailed, frequents three locations. A high cottonwood with a view of the east and west valleys. This tree, with a more specific view of the meadows, supplemented with an old snag on the opposing, west side of the highway with grand coverage of the marsh lands and horse pastures. If these are the only places, then it has got the valley covered. I’m sure it knows more than I do. Thanks for looking. G
