For the fun of it! A Chihuahua dog owning the neighborhood. I see him numerous mornings on the drive to work. Initially he barks at the car and stands his ground. When he has my attention he bolts off. In this image he is cruising in front of the Fire Department (he lives across the street) in Arroyo Hondo. Go Dog Go!
The ruin of Santa Rosa de Lima, Abiquiu, New Mexico. You can read a little more here. I posted an image of the interior on my website in August 2015.

Lenticular clouds before the sunset a couple of days ago. Thought I’d go back to this one. Here’s the image from two days ago.
Big sky big sunset sky over the homestead and most of northern New Mexico yesterday evening…. and to think it’s all out the back door. Most of what I photograph is in my own back yard or in the vicinity there of. Thanks for looking. G
Lenticular Clouds. I made plenty of images of this scene yesterday evening from the garden. I liked the spectacular reds, oranges and yellows of course. However, I actually prefer this exposure after the sun went down, when the light levels were much lower, and the colors more subtle with soft lavender hues. Here’s and image I made on January 22nd 2015 in Pojoaque, NM
Adobe Crumble … what more can I say? Ok… I like the randomness of the adobe brick textures squared off against the smoothness of the window panes. The bounced light filling in the shadows has a nice glow I like. Thanks for looking. G
Taos Mountain meadow. This image represents the scenes we’ve seen around Taos County much of this winter. Today we made a road trip to Colorado to make images for the archive. There was so much snow there, much like this image of the Great Sand Dunes NP from January 2013. Thanks for looking.
Crescent moon trees. This evening through the elm tree. Over the next few days the crescent Moon and Venus will be close together along with Mars Click here to see an image from 2009 and here you can see the crescent Moon and crescent Venus plus an airplane. Thanks for looking. G
