Taos Mountain meadows, storm clouds clearing, and summer greening up. These meadows have been added to the list of other conservation easements in Taos County. They are now protected from future development. As a photographer, I welcome as much open space as possible, that affords us views like this. Thanks for looking. G

Strawberry Moon rising, Taos Mountains, Sangre de Cristos, New Mexico. I dodged a few mosquitoes and noseums yesterday evening in the field to get this shot. Life in the outdoors is is worth a few bugs, but only a few. I added this cyanotype treatment for a different look. Thanks for looking. G
Church of San Jose de Gracia de Las Trampas on the high road to Taos. Also known as the Church of Santo Tomas Del Rio de Las Trampas, is one of the most beautiful adobe mission churches in all of New Mexico in my humble opinion. Thanks for looking. G

Guadalupe, painted on a home in Servilleta, New Mexico. On a photo tour last week, in a convoy, on roads less traveled in northern New Mexico. Blue Grosbeak, San Cristobal, NM. Two years ago a young Blue Grosbeak visited the garden, I haven’t spotted one since, until today. I have no proof it’s the same bird but I like to think it might be. He seems to know his way around the place. Thanks for looking. G
Cumbres Pass, aspen grove, spring, Colorado. Spring in the Rockies is just a most beautiful time of year. The temps are crisp and cool, the light is pristine and warming moisture surrounds and invigorates me. Thanks for looking. G
Los Ojos, San Jose Church, Brazos Cliffs, NM. Here’s another shot from a drive I made last week. The shadows pass across the valley, a rolling wave of light. The Brazos Cliffs, guardians of the eastern approaches and one of my personal, favorite views in northern New Mexico. Thanks for looking. G
Dance Hall (formerly), in Petaca, New Mexico. It is now part of a residence of a sweet lady I met who has a long history here. She also had plenty of time to share that history with me on her way out to put gas in her pickup truck. As you can imagine there’s a lot of history that this 83 year old woman could share. In brief she told me, her family lived close by and that she was grateful for that. Thanks for looking. G
