Costilla Creek, Rio Costilla Park, northern New Mexico. A beautiful day in the high country with two photographers. Morning in the San Luis Valley and an afternoon along Costilla Creek with rushing waters, alpine meadows of wild iris, mountain lakes and great company. Here’s a cell phone photo of Costilla Creek as it rushes headlong from the mountains, and into the Rio Grande. Thanks for looking. G

Hi Geraint;
Wanted to let you know that we still appreciate our time with you in the Taos are in Feb. 2018.
Mary and I continue our photo capturing and improvement adventures. We entered a number of photos in the San Diego Co. Fair International Photo Competition. 3 of Mary’s made it to the second round of judging. Two were from NM. A truck door that you took us to and a B&W ladder from the Puye Cliff Dwellings. Also, her penguins from Antartica. One of mine (boy on a bus). The Flickr link with all of our entries is below in the website field.
We intend to return, perhaps next winter and hope to meet up with you again.
I continue to enjoy and learn from your posts. Keep up the wonderful work.
Regards, Mike
Thank you so much for sharing Mike, and congratulations to you and Mary on your entries. The penguins are delightful and all the shots are impressive. Thank you again and for continuing to enjoy my work. I’ll look forward to seeing you both when you do return. My very best. G
