Amish horse-drawn buggy, Monte Vista, Colorado. I added the old photo effect bringing a dated look to the shot thats mirrors the old ways. We heard the horse and buggy coming before we could see it. Can you see the swaddled baby reaching for the reins as Mom holds her safely around the waist. Here’s a little blurb on the Amish in the San Luis Valley. Thanks for looking. G

That is so cool, Geraint! What an interesting find. I guess if you are always exploring you never know what will inspire you.
A day out with an open agenda with time for surprises, every time. Sometimes we never get to the original destination as things change during the trip. Thank you, Alexis. G
A nice image and the treatment works well. When we moved to IN in 1961, the town we lived in was on the edge of a large Amish settlement.
They can be found in numerous areas of the San Luis Valley. Two years ago there was a family turning the hay with two teams of three. I have photos. Thank you, Ron. G
I love the shadings & subjects too. Looks like a painting.
Thank you, Jamie. I appreciate your compliment. G
