Top of the World, Rio Grande Del Norte, National Monument. This day 04-04-16, four years ago. I’d just bought my fifth Toyota 4 Runner, (I love 4 Runners), so Pami and I took it for a days drive through the National Monument. During the 100+ miles we covered, some roads were passable, others heavily rutted with mud. We did make it up this hill with no problems and have done so many times since. It has great views in all directions, especially the Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the north and east. I know it’s not exactly the top of the world, but it feels like it and incidentally, you can see “The Top Of The World Farm” on the New Mexico, Colorado state line from here. When things get back to normal, join me on a photo tour in the Rio Grande del Norte, and I’ll show you around this area. Thanks for looking. G

Great sky by the way. Can still stay in my caravan near York.
Thank you Alison for taking my Mom on those trips. She told me all the details and what a wonderful time she had. Thank you, thank you. I hope you can still enjoy your caravan. I enjoy ours, in the garden with a view of the mountains. Geraint
Toyotas are the best… Brushy Mountain??
I texted to and we chatted. It’s so beautiful out there. Let’s go soon! Thanks Chris. G
Hello Geraint,
My name is Dominique Hervouet, I am the stepfather of Larry Hollar’s son.
After the confinement, it would be with pleasure that I would join you, but I live in France and am a little far away. I know a little bit about your area, but only for being there. So I particularly appreciate these latest photos, but I look with pleasure every day at the one you put on your site.
Friendly
Dominique
Thank you Dominique, for getting in touch. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to write. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and working with Larry and keeping in touch with him on email. When all is settled I hope to meet you if you get here. Perhaps you and he will get to visit! Until then I’m glad that you can visit online. Many best wishes to you and your family. Geraint
