The Sardinas Canyon Fire, Northern New Mexico. Over the years I’ve made many documentary images of local events as they occur. This is a very large panorama image from ten images taken with a 300mm lens of the initial flare up of this latest fire in New Mexico. Thanks for looking. G

Wow – very cool and very big – would make an amazing print
Thank you Chris. I will print it one of these days. I was glad to help with the fire photo on your blog. G
Impressive. Fire like this make their own weather. Beautiful but scary. Too many of these everywhere in the West especially here in California.
It was very scary and on the heals of an early fire to the north and east of this one. I definitely think this was creating it’s own weather. Thanks Michael. G
Exotic Mushroom – oriented Formation precisely Encloses this Canyon Fire photo. Superb photo – hands down!
It was huge and I wanted to impart that sense of size. The long lens and multiple images stitched achieved that. Thank you Ronald. G
