Bald Eagles, on the Rio Grande in Pilar, New Mexico. Well… my heart always skips a beat when driving through the canyon, south of Pilar, and we spot a pair of eagles in a dead juniper. These two were on the west bank of the river. It was very special to see so many cars pull over and people get out and sit on the guardrail to watch in awe. Time out of one’s day well spent. Here’s another shot of a Bald Eagle in the same vicinity a few years ago. Thanks for looking. G

“I didn’t know you wanted some of the fish!”
So special that you acknowledged the people viewing in awe ><. and special that the bald eagles didn’t fly away.
Magnificent!
Thank you Susanne. I hope you and Diderico are well. G
Brilliant Photo of magnificent birds but why do I think they are a Mr and Mrs who have had a row?
Thanks Elizabeth. Probably aren’t related at all, though the do look like the larger of the two is a female and the other a male. G
But, dear, you didn’t TELL me you wanted some of the fish!
Now that’s funny… Thanks Lora. G
