Ojo Sarco Valley church on the High Road to Taos. Surrounded by the tops of the colorful cottonwoods with a backdrop of the juniper and piñon hills and the snow covered Jicarita Peak. It was a splendid time to visit this area just after the first snowfall. Thanks for looking. G
inspired by your photos, I went by there today. The belfry has a new coat of paint, but the cross on top has lost is crossbar. Two blows to its funky charm!
Ai will add the cross bar. Kidding! I hear the cross bar may be removed when the church doesn’t host mass anymore. I’ve seen it on numerous churches in southern Colorado. Thanks, Patrick. G
