Lake District Painting By My Mom

Please indulge me while I pay tribute to my lovely Mom who passed suddenly today. This is her painting in the English Lake District from a little book she and my Dad put together some years ago, with her paintings and his poems.
“A gentle breeze sends a shiver of delight across the waters of the lake and the hills around rejoice.”

Thanks for looking. G

And a picture of my mom the last time we visited on a trip to Castlerigg stone circle in the English Lakes. My Mom, my rock!

  1. Geraint, so very sorry to hear of you loss. There is nothing so hard as loosing a parent. As a friend once told me, “Your only friend is time”. Walk in peace my friend.

  4. I recently lost my Mom too. She lived in New Mexico when she was a little girl. My wife and I will be visiting there in March. I shoot landscape images in Oregon and found your site searching for photos from the places she lived. Sorry for your loss
