Wow!
Beautiful!
Thanks, Larry. It means a lot. G
Hi Geraint, I love the red sky. It reminds me how passionate they probably were about it, and its change of seasons. I love art that gives me a comforting feeling the most, not something like the winged victory. Opening these photos of the week is becoming comforting! I showed my husband the ancient city photo…he was thinking Ancestral Puebloans? He loves that stuff! Anything ancient, including all those dolmens in Wales. Very mysterious, indeed. Hope you are well and know we are well. Alexis 🙂
Hi Alexis. Thank you so much for sharing this with me. I really appreciate it.
Yes, ancestral Puebloan. I love it out there in Chaco. Have you been there? It’s stunning.
There’s a great sense of place, and atmosphere. I often feel the oldness and ancient spirits. I may be wrong but there is some connection I feel with those spirits.
Best wishes to you and your family. G
Hi G, Yes, my husband knows exactly what you are saying: he was at Chaco and felt a connection as well in the early morning and alone. He appreciated solitude quite a bit before meeting me (we met 20 years ago), and now it’s just the two of us for the most part (and our beagle, Cato). I think the history in combination with the land makes way for glimpses of the human spirit, itself. It’s our stories that we are capturing a piece of, with no ending. I’ve never been, personally. I’ve always been the more frenetic of the two of us, lots of spirit I suppose! Adam’s the wiser one. I think places like that come alive for me when they are talked about. Peace makes way for peaceful insight. :). Things can still remain gentle without dormancy, I think. Magic is meant to be beautiful, and some people no how to capture it in true form. Life just falls into place! :). Thanks for the well wishes. Alexis
Thanks so much for sharing, Alexis. It’s always good to hear another’s story/experience, especially Chaco. G
❤️❤️ awesome
