Tipi, sky, sunset, and a quote, Lama, NM. This quote has stayed with me since I first became aware of it many years ago. I dreamed of the wide open spaces of the west when I was a kid in South Wales. Here I am, and I’ve slept on the ground many nights with only the stars above me. Thanks for looking. G

Hi as a leader in the girl guides in England we had a annual camp. I liked to sleep with the tent doors open. Waking snug in my sleeping bag but with the morning fresh air surrounding me . Something about being the first up to light the fire. Thanks for the memories.
It’s pretty special isn’t it. I camped around the southwest US for many years and never used a tent. One time at the Great Sand Dunes I put up a tent it was a little cold. That night it snowed five inches. Thanks Alison. G
