Crescent Moon, Taos, NM 10-14-2026

Greetings from New Mexico. I hope everyone had a good week. This week the fabulous crescent moon from the equally fabulous Taos, NM. starting with the crescent moon on October 12, 2026. Seeing it a couple of nights ago, prompted me to revisit past images, and remind myself how fortunate I am to live here and see this sight in crystal clear skies of northern New Mexico.

Enjoy!

  1. In the window, the moon is hanging over
    the earth,
    meaningless but full of messages.
It’s dead, it’s always been dead, but it pretends to be something else, burning like a star, and convincingly, so that
    you feel sometimes
it could actually make something grow on earth.
If there’s an image of the soul, I think that’s
    what it is.

  2. Every one of these is fabulous!
I especially like the breaking through the clouds version.

I’ll send you one I made in Arizona a few years ago.

  3. All great, Geraint,

I saw that beauty on Oct. 12 in Minnesota….a rarity due to clouds and poor air, but at 5am or so I got a nice view.
